mesmerizing kapas island

Day trip to Kapas Island, Terengganu

Terengganu has been blessed with beautiful islands, among the best island in Malaysia. My friends and I had been to Perhentian Island in 2016, it was fascinating. I never thought that we have this kind of beauty in Malaysia as I have always imagined Maldives to this beauty standard. Sorry that I have been underestimating the islands in my home country. It's worth mentioning that Sabah also has the most striking islands in Malaysia, and most popular with foreign tourists. So, next on my list would be Sampoerna with the personal goal of hiking to Bohey Dulang. Can I just share with you guys how amazing the Bohey Dulang is. This photo below definitely not mine. Looking at the photo itself makes my heart jump for joy. Hahaha.

Well, back to Kapas Island. I visited my brother in Terengganu, and it was an impromptu plan to go to Kapas Island. We did not have sufficient time to overnight on the island and Kapas Island apparently the nearest island to the mainland. I would love to go to Redang Island because I heard that Redang is more stunning but it's not feasible for a day trip as the boat ride takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour. So we took a 20-minute boat ride to Kapas Island with not much expectation. The boat fare is RM40 per person (return trip).

Kapas Island is beautiful. With beautiful weather, we enjoyed our time there. It's a great a day trip for family fun time. You can opt for snorkeling but we decided to just chill and had lunch. There are many resorts available for a stay. But to me, Kapas island is also worth a visit even just for one day.

Let's just take a look at the photos taken at Kapas Island, Terengganu.
